BioClass Standing: Second Year - 2-E
Background: The youth was frail from his birth. Actually he was supposed to have a twin, but the doctor had been somehow unaware, and to add to the whole tragedy the birth was prematured by a whole two months. The first born died, but then the nurse discovered another newborn awaited, putting at least some balm on the family's wounds. His name, meaning 'wishful light' was chosen in the first minute of his life.
Due to the circumstances of his birth, the first six months of his life were spent in hospital. Things were better after he was let out, though he would grow at a slower pace physicaly his mental abilities seemed normal. His parents worked hard at their dry cleaning buisness and had no trouble giving their son the best public education they could.
The boy was picked on at school and bullied, but said nothing. He was always quiet, so it appeared normal for him not to speak much at home and instead drown himself in books and videogames. However things went too far one day after school, and either by accident or premeditated occurence from the bullies, Hikaru fell off the bridge.
This time he had to explain his parents after he awoke. It was decided that the thirteen year old would be sent to his godfather's home for the coming years. This was where Hikaru spent the next three years of his life. There he had the company of his godfather's son and the family's dog. It was then that he learned of Gekkoukan. Maboroshi was going to graduate, and he was saying much good about the school.
To Hikaru's great delight, his parents accepted the request, and he was able to attend. He was told much about the different teachers and clubs, and whatever Maboroshi recalled of his own exams, so the first year was complete bliss.
Personality: Hikaru is a quiet, shy youth who prefers to spend his time drawing -or trying to draw- reading, playing video games or eating. Most often he is seen with some sort of snacking food. He is the sort of person who does not speak much unless he is spoken to. He tries his best to listen in class and take notes, thinking if he does that then only last-minute studying is enough. Hey, it worked well before.
He actually should be in third year, however he had to be hospitalized for the better part of the school year two years ago, so he had to do his first year twice.
The rare times he speaks, he is incredibly polite. The only occasion he may rise his voice is when an injustice is commited, or if something bothers him to a great extent. Otherwise, he will keep it all inside. As far as manking can recall, he has not asked or was asked out by any girls and had no admirers at last Valentine's day.
